PETALING JAYA: AmBank Group and Sime Darby Property Bhd (SimeProp) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer a new green financing solution for online home buyers.
The new sustainable financing option would simplify the home-buying process and make securing home financing easier for SimeProp’s customers.
SimeProp chief marketing and sales officer Datuk Lai Shu Wei said the digital initiative would reduce what would have been a four-week home buying process to 10 days.
“We are providing an efficient customer-centric seamless experience to home buyers that reduces the turnaround time in terms of customer approval processes, loan applications, reduces paper work and increases efficiency for the whole home-buying process.
“It will not be a factor that impacts sales but it surely increases customer satisfaction and experience in their purchasing journey,” Lai told reporters during the press conference after the MoU ceremony.,

He said AmBank will offer a special rate pricing to promote these initiatives for customers to enjoy rates from as low as 2.95% per annum.
SimeProp group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican said the collaboration extends the company’s digital initiatives to provide home buyers with a convenient and complete end-to-end property buying experience.
